Hanna had been at the hospital all night. There was no way she was going to leave until she knew for sure Caleb would be okay. He hadn't woken up, yet. Hanna was the opposite. She barely slept. There might have been a few hours when she fell asleep on the most uncomfortable hospital chair ever, but that didn't count to her.

Wherein Hanna makes amends. )

[NFB, NFI; This is a scene I'd like to think could have happened off screen in canon.]

Another Creepy Night in a Graveyard )

A Killer Finally Revealed )

[nfb, nfi; warning for creepy cemeteries, psychopaths, character death, and gun violence; from 3x12 "The Lady Killer"; finished at least until the Halloween episode airs, then glorious hiatus from canon catch ups.]
new_it_girl: (pll - short - door)
As soon as she returned from the trip, Hanna got right on a train to Rosewood. Spencer had kept her up to date on everything.

An Intervention Gone Awry )

Hanna doesn't approve of Caleb's weapon of choice. )

[nfb, nfi; dialog from 3x12 "The Lady Killer"; final canon catch up post of the first half of S3 will be posted in a few hours]
new_it_girl: (pll - packing/phone)
Hanna was doing a bit of packing for the upcoming trip. She was most excited to be away from 'A' related things for a whole week on a whole other continent.

Of course, there had to be one last 'A' issue. She found out when Spencer called with new information.

Wherein Spencer has a new theory. )

[establishy; phone call is nfb; from 3x11 "Single Fright Female" with dialogue tweaks]
new_it_girl: (pll - short - uh oh)
Hanna was back home just a few days after her encounter with Caleb. This time it was because Emily needed her best friends tonight. Besides, if no one could make it to Fandom this weekend, she might as well go to them.

Another crazy adventure within. )

[warning for blood, accidental stabbing, and disturbing themes; from 3x10 "What Lies Beneath"]
new_it_girl: (pll - unsure)
Hanna was feeling a little less on edge right now. Her mother thankfully got Veronica Hastings to get the blood test order thrown out. For now at least. It was something.

Wherein Hanna goes on a little adventure. )

[nfb, nfi; from the 3x09 "The Kahn Game" with some woeful tweaks]
new_it_girl: (pll - scared)
Hanna was so freaked out about what Detective Wilden discussed with her last night. More importantly, why was 'A' threatening to frame her? It was made clear when she found an old Ouija board waiting for her. It was a reminder of a memory from the past.

Wherein Hanna may never sleep again. )

[warning for more dark themes involving an asylum behind the cut; from 3x07 "Crazy" which is the creepiest episode to date, imo]
new_it_girl: (candid - short - busy)
After the Pride meeting, Hanna caught the train home, this time because her mom asked her to.

She had somehow been roped into helping her mom with a clothing drive for the homeless at the local church. Apparently, she agreed while in her depressed state over the weekend. She nor her mom were really church people, so Hanna was really confused about why they were doing this. They could be charitable in other ways, couldn't they?

She sighed as she began to fold old clothes. The new deacon Ted kept trying to talk to her, but she tuned him out after awhile. She was too busy thinking about where her friends were at the moment.

Cut for length )

[nfb, nfi; from 3x05 "That Girl is Poison" with some additional dialogue; there are mentions of people being drugged that could potentially be triggery]
new_it_girl: (pll - short - uh oh)
Hanna had been mopey ever since the fight she had with Caleb. It's partly why she took her time getting back to her dorm. She didn't have any classes on Mondays anyway.

As soon as she walked into the room, she was greeted by a tiny ball of fuzz.

"I thought you'd be gone by now," Hanna sighed at the kitten staring back at her.

She noticed it was still around Friday and left out some food for it while she was gone, but she thought for sure the kitty would be gone by the time she got back.

"I'm not really a cat person," she told the kitten.

It looked back at her with big kitten eyes. "Mew."

Just like that, some of Hanna's sadness disappeared. "Fine, you can stay."

Now, she just needed to give it a name and hoped it got along with Pascal.

[establishy kitten therapy post]
new_it_girl: (pll - short - depressed)
A lot happened in Rosewood this week while Hanna was safe in Fandom.

Rosewood Style News )

[nfb, nfi; based on 3x04 "Birds of a Feather" with slight tweaks in dialogue]
new_it_girl: (text - short - message)
Hanna liked this day. There were kittens climbing all over her shoulders. Nothing at all was wrong with that. They also kept her calm in the face of a stressful situation.

Wherein Hanna gets a call from Spencer )

[establishy exposition post, though can be open; phone call okay for broadcast, conversation not so much; season three spoilers within]
new_it_girl: (pll - short - small smile)
After the incident outside Radley last night, Hanna realized just how much Caleb seemed to still be invested in her life. Not in a creepy stalker way, but more protective. It was actually kind of nice, even if it annoyed her at the same time.

She wasn't surprised when he stopped by tonight right before she left for the train station. They were sitting outside on the steps as she waited for a cab.

Wherein there is some cuteness )

[nfi, nfb; not part of the canon catch up series, just something I felt like adding last minute]
new_it_girl: (pll - short - door)
Hanna returned again to the asylum, hoping tonight would be different. She was almost certain it would be more of the same.

She'd be surprised. )

[same warnings for creepy apply; dialogue from 3x03 "Kingdom of the Blind"]
new_it_girl: (pll - short - concerned)
In the next few days after That Night, things had taken a turn for the even more creepy.

Yes, that was possible. )

[from 3x02, "Blood is the New Black"; same warnings from past catch ups apply!]
new_it_girl: (pll - nervous)
After an unsettling visit at a sanitarium, the last place Hanna wanted to be was the creepy motel where A's lair had been. Many things led them to this place at this moment.

Was it happening again? )

[Partially tweaked dialog from 3.01 "It Happened That Night." My canon is the creepiest ever.]
new_it_girl: (pll - short - listening)
Hanna didn't tell anyone she was going to the sanitarium again. She didn't tell Spencer when they'd been taking part in caffeine therapy just a few hours ago. She didn't tell her mom. She was still using a false identity when she visited. That's how much she didn't want anyone to know about these visits.

[Warning again for more disturbing themes involving an asylum; all dialog from 3.01 "It Happened That Night"]
new_it_girl: (pll - did you hear that?)
It was a holiday weekend and Emily was back from Haiti. This definitely was cause for celebration and distractions from the upcoming anniversary. It also required beverages their parents would disapprove of. What? Celebrations weren't the same if they couldn't toast it with alcohol. Who cares that it was creepy outside due to thunder and lightning. Not that it mattered. Spencer's house was perpetually creepy all on its own.

It all started with a party... )

...and ended in a cemetery. )

[NFB, NFI; Warning for dark themes and serious creepiness; dialog from 3.01 "It Happened That Night."

This is the first of about ten canon catch up posts between now and Halloween, so expect some spamming ;)]
new_it_girl: (pll - packing/phone)
Hanna was packing. She was planning on going home after class tomorrow, so she was preparing early. She and her friends made plans to hang out this weekend, the last before classes resumed at Rosewood High. They were going to have a mini "welcome home" party for Emily as well.

On a more serious note, Saturday was the three-year-anniversary of Ali's death. The girls made it a point to always be together around that time. It was important to them.

Surely nothing at all could go wrong....

[open door and post]
new_it_girl: (pll - nervous)
Hanna returned to Radley in the hopes that things might be different this time. She really wanted this visit to go more smoothly than the last one did. She even wore a new outfit. Not because she wanted to impress anyone. It was more from a place of anxiousness, of wanting things to be perfect.

Wherein things would never be perfect. )

[NFB, NFI; warning for dark themes involving an asylum behind the cut; based on canon visitations like this in S3; was implied they began just prior to the premiere]
