A lot happened in Rosewood this week while Hanna was safe in Fandom.

The old news was that blind Jenna wasn't so blind anymore and that Spencer's sister Melissa was the Black Swan at the masquerade.

Then there was last night's new information. She handwavily learned Mona's visiting hours had been revoked all because Caleb went to visit her to warn her against hurting Hanna. If she wasn't so pissed off about it, she would have thought it was sweet. But it wasn't. He set Mona off somehow. She freaked out, complete with flipped table and all. He was lucky he wasn't in Hanna's vicinity when he called to confess.

She understood, though. She was lying all the time bout this. He was worried about her. Hanna's compassion won out and she agreed to tell him everything. Now she was waiting in her room at home for him to show up. She had to admit, it would feel good to get it all out.

She was all prepared to tell him when she received a new text message, an image attached this time. She peered closely at it, realizing it was an accident scene in Montecito, California, where Caleb's mother lived. It was followed by a message:

I'm everywhere, Hanna.

-A

She didn't have time to process before Caleb arrived. When he told her his mother was in a minor car accident, she knew what really happened. The message was a warning. If she told him, 'A' would hurt someone close to him. This 'A' was serious business. As if digging up bodies wasn't crazy enough...

"What's been going on, Hanna," he asked gently.

Hanna sighed. "I...it's complicated. I just..I can't..."

She wanted to tell him so bad.

"You said you were going to talk to me and now you can't again?" Caleb was clearly losing patience. "You know what, Hanna, I can't do this anymore. If you can't trust me, we have nothing more to say."

"Oh, come on, Caleb, we can still hang out..."

"No, I'm done," Caleb said, his tone way too final. "I'm done with whatever this is we have."

She knew what he meant by that. They weren't together, but they kinda were. Though now it seemed they weren't anything, not even friends.

He turned and walked out of her room, leaving her too stunned to cry right away.

That only lasted momentarily, though, and she ended up sobbing into her pillow.

She hated 'A,' but his was nothing new.
