Hanna was back home just a few days after her encounter with Caleb. This time it was because Emily needed her best friends tonight. Besides, if no one could make it to Fandom this weekend, she might as well go to them.

Hanna & Emily

Aria found a note written by Maya at her house. It was from when Emily was still living there. The note must have fallen behind something and stayed there for awhile, waiting to be found. It was written a few days before she was found dead. There was a date, but that was the only clue.

Today, Emily was going through all the videos from Maya's website. Hanna helped her print out pictures from every frame of the videos in the hopes of finding anything that would lead them to Maya's killer...to 'A.' They were still convinced 'A' was involved to shut Maya up for knowing too much.

Based on one of the images, it seemed Maya had been at Noel Kahn's cabin. That was a major clue. Of course, Hanna and Emily went to look around, discovering a front lawn filled with red plastic cups and other trash. There'd been a recent party there. Hanna wasn't surprised.

There was more of the same inside. How gross.

Hanna

"Did you find anything?" Hanna asked as she stared at more trash.

Emily

"Nothing but stale nachos and deer heads," Emily sighed, looking as grossed out as Hanna felt.

Hanna

"This place creeps me out," Hanna said, shuddering.

They were about to leave when Hanna discovered a door to a secret murder room. At least that's how creepy it seemed. It looked lived in. Someone had been there. Based on the duffel they found, it appeared that person had been Maya.

Hanna & Emily

They had to look through the bag, even though Hanna thought it was morbid. Emily held a scarf that belonged to Maya for a moment. Hanna thought the whole thing was incredibly sad.

Emily had been so happy recently. She was dating Paige now and was in a good place...relatively, considering 'A's presence. She wasn't going to ever forget Maya, though.

Hanna

Hanna found a pocket knife amongst her belongings. Is this how scared Maya had been? She had to sleep with a knife at her side? How very tragic.

"Who's L.J.?" Hanna asked. Those initials were carved onto the knife.

Emily

"I don't know," Emily honestly replied.

Hanna

Hanna frowned when she discovered something else in the bag. It was a bus ticket to San Francisco. "Em?"

Emily

Emily took it from her, studying it closely. She sighed sadly. "She never left Rosewood."

Hanna & Emily

They were trying to process that when the door to the room suddenly slammed shut. As they attempted to open it, the window shutters from the outside had been slammed shut as well. The girls were trapped in the scary secret room.

Emily

"Who's out there?" Emily shouted when she heard someone shuffling around on the other side.

Hanna

"What do you want?!" Hanna screamed, though she knew it was a futile attempt.

Emily

Emily grabbed a fireplace poker. "If this is you Noel, this isn't funny anymore!"

Hanna & Emily

When the lights went out, that's when Hanna truly feared for her life. She and Emily had nowhere to go. Screaming for help wasn't getting them anywhere. On top of that, neither of them could get reception on their cellphones.

Emily took matters into her own hands. She took the poker, breaking the window panes. The shutters were still closed, though. Hanna tried to get those open with the pocket knife. She managed to somehow stab her leg instead.

Emily

"Oh god, are you okay?!" Emily frantically asked, rushing over to her.

Hanna

Hanna glanced at her leg, nearly freaking out. "I cut my leg..."

Emily

"You're bleeding!" Emily cried, her voice panic filled.

Hanna & Emily

Hanna sat down, the pain taking hold. Emily grabbed Maya's scarf, tying it around her leg to stop the bleeding.

"I'm gonna be sick," Hanna said, feeling a bit faint.

Emily

That's all Emily needed to hear. She grabbed a random baseball bat and began beating the hell out of the wooden window panels. It was as if Emily was a mother needing to protect her child. In this case, Hanna was the child.

Emily was like a warrior woman.

"Come on," Emily said, helping Hanna get through the window. She helped her walk to the car so they could get out of this awful hell place. There was a surprise waiting for them on the side of the cabin.

A

Written in spray painted red letters was a message:

I'm saving you for later.

-A

Oh yes. It was time to get the hell out of there.

Hanna & Emily

Emily got Hanna home, begging her to go to the hospital. That was more than a cut she had on her leg. It needed stitches. She refused to go, fearing Wilden would be around, ready to snatch her blood.

Emily called Wren instead.

Hanna

He didn't seem to ask too many questions as he stitched her up, ruining a good pair of designer jeans in the process. She could swear he was being flirty. Or maybe it was the meds confusing her. Either way, it was weird.

Whatever. She couldn't stick around this weekend. Her mother could never know about the accidental self-inflicted stab wound. How would she explain this one? How would she explain the murder room?

It was better to explain it to people in Fandom if it came up.
