As soon as she returned from the trip, Hanna got right on a train to Rosewood. Spencer had kept her up to date on everything.

That included finally having a compelling reason to think Paige was involved somehow. Not only did she have the history with Ali, Spencer found evidence that only 'A' would know about, an earring that had been buried with Alison. Unfortunately Emily caught Spencer going through Paige's bag and wasn't really speaking to her or Aria.

To make matters worse, Garrett's murder trial was starting soon and the reporters were hounding Emily, even staking out on her lawn like they were paparazzi.

When Hanna finally arrived in Rosewood, she and the girls made plans for an intervention of sorts. They needed to find a way to make Emily see what was right in front of her. It was mostly Spencer's idea. Hanna and Aria seemed to blindly follow her line of reasoning.

The intervention went about as well as expected, meaning Emily was now mad at Hanna, too. Now Emily was on her way to the Jersey shore with Maya's cousin Nate. At least she was away from Paige while they gathered more proof. It helped that 'A' sent them a new message.

Let's settle this. Alison's grave. 10 pm. Bring Maya's Bag.

They had their own trick up their sleeve, though: Caleb. He was going to hide and record the encounter. They'd finally catch 'A'.' Hanna just wished it didn't have to be Paige.

Hanna

Hanna saw the other girls off so they could prepare. When she returned to her room, she saw Caleb quickly cover something on her bed. She was pretty sure she knew what it was.

"Is that a gun?" It was confirmed when she lifted his bag off the item in question.

"Where did you get that?" Hanna asked, alarm in the tone of her voice. "You know what, I don't want to know, just get rid of it."

Caleb

Caleb tried to reason with her. "Hanna, this 'A' almost killed my mom. I'm not letting you go to that cemetery without any protection."

Hanna

"Well if you plan to bring that gun, you can forget about coming tonight," Hanna said sternly. She meant business.

Caleb

Caleb scoffed. "That's not just your call."

Hanna

"Is is loaded?" Hanna asked, afraid of the answer. His lack of response confirmed her fear.

"Caleb, I swear to god, get rid of that thing now or don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out!" Hanna spat, her tone very final. He could accept it or leave. No other options.

Caleb

"All right," Caleb sighed. "I hear you."

He reached for the gun and quietly placed it in one of Hanna's drawers out of harm's way.

"It'll stay there until tomorrow and then I'll get rid of it. Are you good with that?"

When Hanna turned away, he attempted to be more reassuring. "Hey, it'll be okay. I promise."

Hanna

Hanna shook her head. "It just feels too easy. Paige and Mona giving up on this?"

If Paige was the new 'A', surely she was helping Mona continue her 'A' ways as well. Right?

"We're gonna put an end to this tonight," Caleb assured. "Remember, there's two of them and four of us."
