After an unsettling visit at a sanitarium, the last place Hanna wanted to be was the creepy motel where A's lair had been. Many things led them to this place at this moment.

The Liars	Emily remembered something from last night. It wasn't much of a memory...just that she'd been in someone's car right before she ended up in the cemetery. Then after receiving a creepy text, Aria wondered if it was starting again. After protesting that 'A' was locked away in catatonia, Aria pointed out they didn't know that for sure. That's when Hanna had to tell them she knew for a fact Mona couldn't be involved, that she'd been visiting her. Once the girls got over that Hanna was visiting someone who tried to kill her, Spencer had a secret of her own to reveal. Now they were all standing around a table in a lonely room at Lost Woods Resort, looking at a recreation of the lair before it had been emptied on Spencer's laptop. She explained to them how there were multiple black hoodies ready for 'A' to grab at a moment's notice.
Hanna	"Mona," Hanna corrected her. "Ready for Mona."
Emily	"Okay, so you've been coming here all summer trying to remember what was in this room," Emily said. "Why?"
Hanna	Hanna kind of wanted to know the answer to that, too.
Spencer	"We have to tell them the truth," Spencer said, looking at Aria.
Aria	"The morning after everything happened with Mona, we came back here," Aria started to explain.
Emily	"Yeah, to get rid of everything, I know. You told us," Emily interrupted.
Aria	"We lied to you," Aria said sheepishly. "We didn't want it to be another thing for you to worry about, Em. And Hanna, you were going back to school..."
Spencer	"When we came back here, everything was empty," Spencer explained. "The file cabinets, the maps, the pictures...Ali's diaries. Everything was gone."
Emily	"Maybe the police took it," said Emily.
Hanna	"If the police found out what Mona knows about us, my mom would be in jail," Hanna said, starting to figure it out.
Aria	"Ezra, too," Aria added.
Emily	"So who took it?" Emily asked, worry crossing her face.
Spencer	"Well, there are things that don't really add up," Spencer continued. "Like, Mona was with Hanna that time 'A' gave Emily that massage. And there's no way she could have gotten Ian's body out of the bell tower by herself."
Aria	"Wait, you're saying that you think someone was helping her?" Aria asked.
Spencer	Spencer brought up sketches of a black swan costume onto the laptop. "If the black swan wasn't guilty of something, why would she run from you guys at the masquerade?"
Hanna	They all pondered this. Hanna was doing her best to deny this could be starting again. They had months of peace and now this? It couldn't be.
The Liars	She was knocked out of that denial when Spencer's car alarm went off. The girls went to check on it, discovering all four doors and the trunk open. That wasn't creepy enough. When they moved closer, they could see photos of the four of them standing by Alison's empty grave with a shovel nearby. The photos were scattered all over the car. All over the dashboard. All over the front and back seats. All over the trunk. So many pictures they couldn't hide from. When all four ring tones blared, that was the confirmation Hanna was dreading. "Mona played with dolls," Aria nervously read aloud. "I play with body parts." "Game on, bitches," Spencer added. "A," the four of them said in unison. It was starting again.
