Hanna was starting to get really fed up with her mother's lying. She also kind of understood how her mom felt all those times she lied as well. Perhaps she was being a bit hypocritical, but she didn't care. She had to find out what her mother was hiding. At least she had to find out if her mother was a suspect.

That meant a trip to the Rosewood PD, Hanna's favorite place ever.

She used the excuse of stopping by to bring flowers to Emily's mother, who was a receptionist at the police department. A teenager bringing flowers to her best friend's mother for no reason wasn't that suspicious, right?

Hanna didn't get a chance to find out, since Mrs. Fields wasn't there at the moment. Bummer. That was her way of getting in! She sighed and left the flowers on her desk anyway. That's when something unsettling caught her eye.

Inside one of the rooms was a big white board full of pictures. Suspects? She moved closer to inspect it. Wilden's picture was in the middle, since that's the latest murder investigation. The picture had lines going everywhere with notations. Other pictures included her own as well as her friends. Mona, Caleb, Jenna, Noel, and so many others were there. Even Garrett, Ian, and Ali's pictures were up there. Worst of all, to her, was her mother's picture. She was about to take her own picture of it to share with the others. She didn't get a chance to.

"Miss Marin, I've been meaning to talk to you."

Hanna turned to face the person addressing her, and she immediately did a double take. He looked exactly like someone she already knew.

"Bruce?" she said out loud, forgetting momentarily that she lived where things like doppelgangers happen. This was obviously not Fandom.

"Can't say anyone has ever called me that before," he replied, the grin on his face sort of charming like Bruce. He was like him in almost every way.

Holy awkward!

"Um...you just...remind me of someone I..." Hanna replied. "You're obviously not, so..."

"Sorry to disappoint you," he said, amused. "I'm Detective Holbrook. I met your friends already at the funeral."

"Oh, um, yeah, I wasn't there." Hanna looked down, almost feeling guilt for not going.

"Understandable," Detective Holbrook replied. "I know he was unprofessional with all of you. It won't be like that anymore."

He seemed sincere, unlike most of the Rosewood PD. He seemed so trustworthy. Maybe it's because he looked like someone who was a friend. Still, she wasn't sure she could buy it, yet, because Rosewood. He wasn't Wilden, though. That made him automatically better.

"We should step outside," he told her. Because that was apparently the professional thing to do. Clearly, she should not be in this room with the white board of evidence.

"What is all that?" Hanna asked, pointing out that very white board as he lead her out.

"It's how you break down a murder case," he replied, closing the door behind them. "If you want to solve it."

"And everything on that board has to do with who killed Wilden?"

"Most of it."

"Well, why is my name on that board?" It was a legit question.

He shrugged. "Lots of people on that board. People who knew him, people who didn't even know they knew him. One by one, you take people off the list. Just part of the process. Nothing to worry about."

Hanna was worried, of course. "Yeah, unless you're the last name left."

He nodded, his tone light. "Then you might have a problem."

She wanted to ask more questions, but she was interrupted by Melissa Hastings of all people.

Detective Holbrook excused himself to speak with her. Hanna's paranoid mind already was suspicious of this activity. What was Melissa doing here and what were they going to talk about? She was on that board, too, along with half of Rosewood.

This was just another thing Spencer would have to confront her sister about. Hanna would make sure of it.

She'd do almost anything to help her mom. She couldn't lose her.
