Hanna had been avoiding Rosewood like the plague. She could continue to ignore things from afar. Yesterday was different, though. She was lucky to have a very good relationship with her mom, so she spent the day with her. They had a nice lunch at the Apple Rose Grill and just talked about everything. Everything except the 'A' situation. She knew her mother was concerned about how she was handling this, but she didn't want to deal with it. Not yet.

Since she didn't have any classes on Monday, Hanna stayed over so she and the girls could spend some time together today. It seemed neither of them wanted to deal with certain things. They did talk about summer plans, significant others, and Alison's alleged murderer. The usual. Their lives were a bit abnormal.

When she returned to her room a few hours before she had to head back to the train station, she spotted the dress form in the corner of her room. Remembering a conversation from Art Therapy, she moved closer, inspecting the scraps and clippings that were pinned to it.

"I should do something with you," she said to the mini mannequin, deciding right then that she was going to take it back to Fandom with her.

She started to remove some of the scraps, intending to replace them with new ones. She paused momentarily when she got to a clipping of a pair of shoes. Mona had a pair like them. Hanna admired them, but it was during the time she and her mom were having money problems. So she pinned a photo, hoping to afford it someday.

"Whatever," she said to herself as she removed the clipping.

But the next one was another reminder: a dress she saw at the mall, one Mona said would look great on her. That was mere months after Mona ran her down with her car. Hanna didn't know it at the time. They'd gone shopping together so many times. So many times that Mona had been plotting against her. So many times pretending to be her friend.

Hanna yanked the clipping, tearing it in the process. She was so angry all over again. It all came rushing back...the night of the masquerade ball. She remembered Mona's words.

It's easier to forgive an enemy than it is to forgive a friend.

"Well I don't forgive you!" she shouted before shoving the mannequin. If she couldn't punch Mona in the face, this was the next best thing.

"Hanna?"

She looked over at the door where her mother was standing, a look of worry on her face.

"Mom," she whimpered, running over to her mom, desperately in need of a hug. She clung to her, sobbing.

"It's okay," Ashley whispered as she held her daughter. "She can't hurt you anymore. I won't let that happen."

It felt good to get some of this pent up anger and sadness out. It was something that was much needed. Hanna knew that now. At least for the moment, she was dealing with it.

She'd go back to ignoring it soon enough.
