A Train Somewhere in PA - Saturday Night
Hanna looked around the train car she was currently standing in. There was a reason she was standing there with the particular group she was with. Aria, Emily, and Spencer were there, of course. Their significant others as well: Caleb, Paige, and Toby. Jenna and Noel stood nearby, as did Jason. Then there was Lucas. This wasn't a coincidence.
It was supposed to be a fun Halloween party on a train. That was Hanna's biggest mistake of the night. This was Rosewood. How exactly was a moving train with no safe exits supposed to be fun?
Sure, there had been a few good things about this night. Hanna got lots of compliments on her Marilyn Monroe costume. Spencer and Toby looked hot as Lauren Bacall and Humphry Bogart in some movie about whistling or something. Aria was Daisy Buchanan, though she was missing a Gatsby. Then there were Emily and Paige looking like a wedding cake from outer space: Barbaralla and Marlene Dietrich in tux from some movie with a foreign country title. Hanna didn't remember. It didn't matter. They all looked awesome tonight.
There was the moment Caleb showed up in a Phantom of the Opera costume to surprise her. She was surprised enough to nearly break his thumbs, but it was nice when she realized who it was. He looked good for a guy who was shot in the spleen a few weeks ago. He was able to make out with her well, too.
The good was outweighed by the bad, though. Spencer had been attacked by an 'A' dressed up as the Queen of Hearts, and had been rescued by Paige. Hanna had a run in with an 'A' pretending to be Caleb. She removed the Phantom mask to reveal a mask resembling Ali's face. Oh there were plans to take multiple showers later tonight.
Aria had it the worst of all of them, though. She was locked in a box, a box that would have fallen off the train had the girls not found her in time. The 'As' may have taken a break from torturing them for a few weeks, but they were out in full force tonight.
She wasn't alone in the box, though. She was with Garrett...a very dead Garrett. A Garrett who told Spencer some very intriguing, yet potentially creepy things about the night Ali died. His major smoking gun had been that he saw Ali having a discussion with Aria's father a few hours before her murder.
Which brought them to the reason they were all herded into a train car for questioning.
[warning for violence, character death, and very creepy subject matter that might be triggery; from 3x13 "This is a Dark Ride"; these girls really need therapy, omg.]

![]() Toby | "The trooper says they're calling parents," Toby informed the group. "They want to take statements before they let us go home." |
![]() Spencer | "When my mom gets here, no one will be talking to anybody," Spencer pointed out. |
![]() Aria | Aria took a moment to let them know she was okay and refused to go to the hospital. "I don't care what Garrett said, my dad had nothing to do with Ali." |
![]() Emily | "Why would we believe Garrett for a minute?" Emily replied like it was a no brainer. |
![]() Hanna | "Okay, straight answer," Hanna said, quietly so only the three other girls could hear. "'A' killed Garrett, yes or no?" |
![]() Spencer | "Yes," Spencer said without hesitation. |
![]() Emily | "That was the whole point," Emily added. |
![]() Spencer | "That's why 'A' pushed us to do things that would get Garrett cleared," Spencer said, catching on. |
![]() Aria | "So he could get out of jail and 'A' could kill him?" Aria asked, trying to make sense of it all. |
![]() Emily | "Two members of the N.A.T. Club...dead," said Emily. |
![]() Aria | "Two people who were in that room the night Ali was killed," Aria finished. |
![]() Spencer | "We tell the cops as little as possible," Spencer told the girls. |
![]() Hanna | "They've already figured something out," Hanna said, looking around the room. "Look at everyone in this train. They didn't just place us anywhere. Everyone in this car has something to do with Garrett Reynolds." |
![]() Aria | Before they could continue that thought, Ezra arrived on the train seemingly out of nowhere. Apparently he was going to surprise Aria by being at the end of the line waiting for her. Now he was comforting her. |
![]() Noel | Noel chose that moment to grace them with his brand of douchiness. "Why don't you just tell the cops you did it so we can all go home." |
![]() Hanna | "You know what, can it Noel," Hanna spat angrily. |
![]() Jenna | "Shut up, Hanna," Jenna interjected. |
![]() Emily | Hanna was about to reply with a few choice words when Emily spoke up instead. "No, you shut up!" |
![]() Noel | "Stop trying to pull everybody into every mess you bitches make for yourselves," Noel interrupted all holier-than-though. |
![]() Toby | "Back off," Toby warned. |
![]() Noel | "Or what?" Noel replied, seemingly ready for the challenge. |
![]() Toby | "You don't wanna know," Toby said, shoving Noel. Eventually the skirmish ended with Noel being pushed against the cooler full of sodas, tipping it over. Along with the spilled ice came a body bag. It had been hidden under there the whole time? |
![]() Hanna | Hanna felt sick. She knew what that was...who that was. Ali. Everyone gasped and managed to look horrified. |
![]() Jason | Lucas took the opportunity to insensitively take a picture of it, not caring at all that Alison's brother was standing right there. Jason was way too distraught to notice, though. This night just got longer. |
