Room 425, Friday Evening

Hanna had gone home for Thanksgiving, spending the day quietly with her mom. It was nice and A-free. She wanted to keep it that way, so she didn't stay in Rosewood any longer than she had to.
Now, she was sitting on her bed with her laptop, searching for the best Black Friday sales online. She didn't have any super powers, but spotting sales anywhere? That was her gift. She became even more proficient at sales when she and her mom had money troubles two years ago. She didn't have to go on massive shopping sprees to find a new outfit or a cute pair of shoes. If it were up to her, Black Friday would be declared a national holiday.
"Maybe I can find a present for you, too," Hanna said to Lou the kitty, who was sniffing the screen curiously. "Would you like a cute collar? I bet I could find one."
Lou ignored her and jumped up to the window, probably devising a plan to catch a bird or something.
"Fine, be that way."
She wasn't going to let it ruin her holiday shopping.
