Rosewood, Pennsylvania - Friday Night
It'd been awhile since Hanna had been in Rosewood. She hadn't returned since the night of the cabin fire. She didn't really take kindly to nearly being killed, or the million questions that rose up from that night alone.
Tonight was different. She was in Rosewood, currently at Spencer's house with the girls, including Mona. They were all summoned by the creature tonight. Or Red Coat? Tormenter? A? Ali? Hanna wasn't sure what to call this entity anymore.
They were summoned to a specific location: the middle of a random street at a specific time. There was a surprise waiting for them at this location. They were greeted by Detective Wilden's police cruiser, the one Hanna hid in the run down barn a few towns over. She never wanted to see that thing again, and yet it was there. The video inside the cruiser was a little different this time. Not only was the argument between Wilden and her mother on there before she ran him over, it also included the moments after. He was being helped up and lead away by Jenna and Shana. That explained why he was perfectly fine and walking around, continuing to threaten Hanna and her mother.
The car revealed another secret, one in the trunk. The girls were horrified to find a dead pig, obviously another one of A's gruesome pranks. A text message was proof.
You're mine now. Kisses!

But it was just there. They didn't know what exactly 'A' had on them this time.
Mona was the one who used her computer skills to remove the video implicating her mother. she didn't trust her at all, but Hanna was grateful her mother was safe for now.
Now they were alone at the Hastings Estate, no scary dead pigs, no creepy police cruiser, no random people who could catch them in the act of tampering with evidence. It was the four best friends and...Mona.
"You can stop staring out the window, Aria," Mona said to the girl staring out the window, afraid someone was coming for them. "The cops aren't coming to arrest us."
"I'm supposed to feel safe just because you say it's all okay now? After everything you put us through," Aria retorted
"Do you think we'd be sitting here if anyone saw us?" Mona returned.
"You wanna know what I think?" Emily interjected. "I think you're lucky that we're not beating the crap out of you."
"And I believe you could, Emily," Mona said smugly. "You really were the weakest link, but look how strong I made you. You should be thanking me."
"Okay, that's it," Emily said, angrily charging toward a cowering Mona.
"Em!" Spencer shouted, just was was needed to prevent the ass kicking Hanna thought Mona truly deserved. "We all wanna take a turn, but we won't. You like games, right Mona? So let's play one called the third degree."
"How'd you get the car there?" Hanna asked first.
"I didn't," Mona replied. "I put the car in Hanna's garage, and that was the last time I saw it."
More questions came with a surprising amount of answers. Jenna's new friend Shana knew her before she got to Rosewood and was possibly in love with her. They're both afraid of Spencer's sister Melissa. It was CeCe that visited her the first time in Radley, but Mona was on different medications then. She didn't remember what they talked about. It was Lucas who gave Emily the massage last year, no doubt after being blackmailed into it by Mona. She recruited Toby last year when he got a new job out of town. She didn't know who it was that pushed Ian off the bell tower a few years back, but she wished she did.
A lot of this sounded believable, but none of the others could quite trust her, for obvious reasons.
Those were the only answers she had. She didn't know who Red Coat was, she didn't know who killed Ali, and she didn't know if it was really Ali they saw at the cabin.
For now, it was time for sleep, though Hanna was sure this would be another sleepless night like she had many times before.
[and we're back with the canon catch ups! I missed my ridiculous show. From 4x01 "A is for Alive"; Anyway, same warnings apply for creepiness and gross things.]
