Hanna was pretty much dead to the world this morning. Perhaps the spiked punch she drank last night was part of the reason for that. Or maybe being Saturday morning was the reason. She always slept in later on weekends.
Whatever. She was sleeping in because she could. She had a right to do so without being interrupted by someone knocking on her door.

Whatever. She was sleeping in because she could. She had a right to do so without being interrupted by someone knocking on her door.
Hanna | "Nghh," Hanna said in response, hoping this was just in her dreams. But the knocking persisted. And persisted. Hanna sighed, grumpily climbing out of her bed to go answer the door. "Whaaat? I'm trying to sleep." She blinked when a little girl stared back at her. Actually, she looked more to be the age of a tween. Hanna wasn't sure. |
Emily | "We're not in Oz anymore," the little girl informed her as she walked right into the room. Hanna continued staring. |
Hanna | "What?" That seemed to be her default question today. She was awake enough to notice that the girl was green. "Oh...Oz. Are you related to Elphaba?" |
Emily | The girl raised an eyebrow. "You must really be out of it. Of course I am. She's my mom." |
Hanna | Hanna was sure part of her brain just broke. "How? I mean, you're, like, twelve...Who is your dad?" |
Emily | "I'm thirteen," the girl replied, rolling her eyes. "I don't have a dad, silly. I have two moms, including you. How much did you drink last night?" |
Hanna | Now Hanna's brain had completely shattered. "Wh...what?" |
Emily | "I'm Emily," she told her. "And I think this is some kind of weird time thing. Which really explains why you don't know me. So, um, sorry if I'm hurting your head more?" |
Hanna | Hanna was rubbing her forehead. "God, I hate this place." Sometimes. Like when her alternate universe children from the future showed up. |
Emily | "I like it," Emily said, grinning. "You wouldn't have met Mama if you never went to school here." |
Hanna | Hanna had only one response to that right now. "I need coffee." They'd have to sort this out later, but caffeine was necessary for that to happen. Oh, and maybe finding Emily's other mom. Oh Fandom. |
